L’amour du risque / Love of risk

Duration: 30 Min.  |  Object and Clown theatre  |  Without words

For adults and children from the age of 8

A guest comes into a restaurant. No waiter comes. Instead, robots roll in. That can only go wrong.

The setting: a candlelight dinner with romantic music. The plot: a man is waiting to be served. But the service here is automated and controlled by an artificial intelligence with somewhat limited abilities. Robots move randomly, they come and go in the room – and end up in a hypnotic dance. As the spectacle progresses, their behaviour becomes increasingly chaotic and they even seem to have human intentions. A game of balance, on the edge of the abyss. An accident never seems far away.

“A timeless satire of the catering service at its worst; both met with gales of laughter from an enthusiastic and delighted audience.” (The Scotsman).
