DOCKTEATERN TITTUT (SE)
Snow
Duration: 35 Min. | Dance and Puppetry | Without words
From the age of 4
The play is set in the north of Sweden. We experience animals in the snow there.
The Sami language has 200 words for snow: Melted snow, sticky snow, hard snow, icy snow… and more. “Snö”, a dance and puppet show inspired by the Sapmí landscape up in the very north of Sweden, follows a reindeer calf which becomes separated from its herd. Lost and afraid, it wanders the magnificent mountain world and meets some of the animals living there. The ice breaks. The snow crunches and squeaks.
The show is a collaboration with Dans i Nord, a dance institution in Piteå, in the north of Sweden.
