LATVIJAS ĻEĻĻU TEĀTRIS (LV)

Subtle Afflictions

Based on short stories by Eriks Ādamsons

Duration: 60 Min.  |  Puppetry  |  English

From the age of 14 and adults

Three short stories are told. There are three actors and three puppets on stage. It’s about thoughts. Even the unpleasant ones.

Thoughts you don’t talk about much, thoughts that bother and take over other thoughts. Study and comprehend them, try to understand, be understanding. Three actors with three puppets – made by Kristīne Jurjāne – play out three Eriks Ādamson’s short stories that reveal the complex, sometimes morbid, sometimes funny nature of human thoughts and feelings that makes every one of us unique. Are you familiar with obsessive thoughts?
