Talk: Another form of puppet

“If you let the body speak, if you learn to switch off your head, not to make hasty decisions about what you do on stage, not to limit the body, the puppet, then you realise that the body speaks and the body offers impulses, material, melodies, tempo, dynamics and many other things. In conversation with circus artists Alexis Rouvre (Alles | Nichts) and Darragh Mc Louhglin (Stickman), theatre scholar Mascha Erbelding explores the newly awakened love between circus and puppet theatre and discusses perspectives for future partnerships.
