I write things down in a blank document. You read. The gentle rhythm of my typing con- nects us. One letter follows the next as I navigate across the internet and deep into my memory in search of forgotten stories, lost voices and inventions. “Untitled Document” is a silent solo performance that weaves an intricate web of relationships between voice, iden- tity, technology, memory and loss in an amusing and poignant way. The starting point was research into the invention of the telephone, observations on the history of its development and reflections on man’s insatiable desire to make distances disappear.
